The Design Behind the Story

A dark braided-look loop leads into a vertical arrangement of colorful ornaments and beads.

At the center is a layered red lotus-shaped carving. Above it sit a multicolor cloud-like ornament and a brown round bead. Below it, blue-green beads lead into two hanging strands accented with smaller green and gold-tone beads.

The strands end in two red circular pieces bearing the Chinese characters “平” and “安.” Together, 平安 is a familiar expression of peace and safety, often used as a sincere wish for someone’s well-being.

For LONCRY, the design becomes a path back to the present.

The loop marks where you begin. The layered lotus creates a place to pause. The descending beads slow the eye, and the two final characters leave you with a simple wish: be here, and move through this moment with care.
